What do you think of this product ???

At that price I doubt they are Mitsubishi parts, even if they list the Mitsu part numbers. I would not use anything other than Mitsubishi parts when it comes to timing components. It wouldn't hurt to ask them though I suppose.

I was going to put a new timgim belt and i was like while i have all that taken apart i should chnage the water pump also. I found this kit on ebay and i was debating about it. Does anyone have experience with it or can i get some feedback on what you guys think about the product. Thanks in advanced.:thumb:

I can't comment on that exact thing but I can almost guarentee you that isn't OEM Mitsu stuff. It might be an OE type, which could be anything. If I remember correctly, I paid 2 something for all OEM parts through JNZ tuning to do the timing belt. I didn't do the water pump because it was another 80 or 90 bucks.

Just get it through a reputable place like JNZ tuning. I know vendors have to stay in business as well but check around for prices. Alot of OEM parts that vendors list are alot more expensive then just buying them from the dealer. :thumb:

^ Beat me to it. :p

I would email the seller & see if they are actually OEM parts. The wording in the auction leads me to believe that they are just listing what the OEM part numbers are, but thats not necessarily what you will get, sorta a scam.

It's possible to get decent stuff off ebay for good prices, but I wouldn't chance your engine by trying to save some money. A timing belt is definately one of these parts that you should never skimp on. Just save yourself the hassel and spend the extra money on a genuine oem mitsubishi timing belt.

Ok thanks guys for your help and letting me know exactly what I was thinking. I just thought maybe someone had some luck with thsi so I will save up some more money and get the real oem products.

This says it all:
Here you can find original equipment (OE) and premium quality aftermarket replacement parts for your German, Swedish, or Japanese car. We specialize in offering maintenance and repair parts, to keep your import in proper working order without the high dealer prices.

They are not OEM parts, buy Mitsu or go home.

The one dead give-away is that they list the Mitsu Part #s for the T-Belt and B-Belt that hasn't been used in over 3 years for the B-Belt, and 9+ years for the T-Belt.
