I am still new to the DSM world here but catching on kinda quick. Right Now i am getting all the basic stuff out of the way before i start to upgrade the turbo to a AGP T28 in August here after i get to work over the summer again. So far for this Xmas i am getting a 3" Downpipe From Pace Setter out of Summit racing for 194.00 and a 190 LPH fuel pump for 92.40 along with Taylor 10.4mm wires for 72.95,and the Hallman MBC for 80.00. Heres the thing though i am going to have 800 dollars to spend this year if i throw in 300 of my own on top of the 500 i am getting from family (800 total). Would it be wise to go ahead and get the 550cc injectors and run them on the T25 for 350.00 or is that too much fuel???. That way in August the only thing i would have to buy is the Turbo and the S-AFC and in october a FMIC. But heres what i am getting at, Come X-mas in 2004 i am going to get that AEM plug in play for 1350.00. If i was going to buy that AEM next year in X-mas would the S-AFC in august be worth it or can you use both of them at the same time or on the greddy e-manage as well is my question? Oh and can the 550's and the 190LPH fuel pump be to much for the T25? I have been wondering this damn question for like over a month. I am kinda hitting fuel cut a lil is why i am wanting to upgrade the fuel stuff now. Sorry for the length. later guys. All opinions are welcomed :thumb:

I'm not sure what the rest your exhaust is but I would recomend full 3". necking down after the down pipe will cause turbulance. With the 800$ I would buy full 3" exhaust with o2 eliminator down pipe from rnr racing 650$. Then get a boost gauge and pod with the rest of the money. As for afc and injectors they can wait until after the turbo. I put mine on with out the afc and injectors and ran 17psi fine. When you swap the turbo there will be a very noticable difference even if you run the same amount of boost. That's what I would do but that's just an opinion.

I would get a different downpipe, I have never heard of anyone running a Pacestter Downpipe, I would stick with somthing more proven than that, personally I have RRE's downpipe. I would say anything from one of the respected DSM shops would be a better buy than your current choice. I agree with others, get a full 3" exhaust. A fuel pump is all you will ever need for the T-25, get the other stuff and sit it in your closet, forget the AEM you will never need that with a T-28 as others have said. It could be beneficial but its very advanced and not really necessary for your current needs in my opinion an AFC will do fine. Oh and BTW forget that Jet Chip in your wishlist...its Garbage for a DSM..happy boosting.

As far as exhaust goes, I would get 3in apexi downpipe with thermal r&d cat back. With the t-28 the afc 550's and a 255 walboro would be perfect. I'd look into a injen intake as well and some ic pipes and aftermarket bov!

Hey guys thanks for replying to that. I just needed to know something abotu that. I will look into the RRE pipe or others. I want a 3 inch downpipe. My cat is gutted so bottlenecking is already there sorta even with the 2 inch dowpipe to a gutted cat to a 2.5 inch catback. I bought a MBC today from www.tobefast.com or Mc Coys motorsports down the road for 42.00. I was looking for one for christmas and i had some extra cash on me so i went ahead and bought it. My psi yes it may be high on the stock turbo is 17 in 1st and 2nd and 19 3rd-5th. I am still going to buy the Taylor wires and the and a downpipe and the walbro fuel pump. People seem to have that setup the 190 walbro with stock injectors on the T28 with S-AFC at 16psi. I guess i will go ahead and buy the S-AFC for xmas. I already have a VDO boost gauge with dual pod and a blinking light show. Oh yeah i ment to take out the JET chip out of my wish list thing there. I am still going to upgrade the Turbo in August. One of you all said even at the same boost with that turbo on stock injectors w/o the AFC you could tell a difference. Thanks guys

Don't bother with the wires at this point, and when you do, go NGK or Magnecor.

You might want to back off on the boost as well, since you're probably knocking hard at 19psi on the T25, and with less boost/knock you'll get more timing advance and thereby more power.

You really should read the tuning/upgrade guide here; it lays out a path that's worth following.
