There is a new manual boost controller from Joe P that is inline. It looks very small and is made out of metal. Has anyone gotten this yet? Its Joe P so I almost want to trust him. Its cheap and I need a new one and I hate mounting controller so it would be nice to have something like that.

Wow that looks good:thumb: I might pick one up. If I was you I would get one. I have a Joe P boost controller and I have nothing but good experience with it.

Me and my friend already got ours. we both got them in black, which aren't metal put plastic. They are really clean looking. You just spin it clockwise or counterclockwise to change boost level. I don't know how adjusting it with the hoses on is like. I got lucky with it though, because i thought that i left it really low to gradually change it but it was right at 15 lbs. of boost. i think it will work fine for years to come, it's not that complicated. they also give you a rubber clamp that you put over the controller. you just tighten it down and it won't adjust on you. i have everything zip tied to my fan. One last thing, they are smaller then you think, it is smaller then the picture shown. it really is just 2 " without the two ends. I definetely recommend it if you don't have crazy amounts of boost running

It says on the website it is supposed to be made out of metal, are you sure you get plastic?

The Joe P. MBC IL Series MBC is designed to be an affordable solution for those seeking the good looks and high quality of a machined aluminum boost controller and the reliability and accuracy of a ball and spring design yet don't want the high price tag.

The IL Series is available in both natural aluminum and black anodized
