hey i have 2 sets of injectors to use on my car a set of denso 720cc or a set of 880 cc pte
here's a list of my mods..i have a 92 gsx awd turbo 5 speed

9.1 wiesco pistons
eagle rods
mitsu metal head gasket
arp studs
1mm ss valves
ported and polished head
upgraded springs retainers
3g lifters
272/272 cams
GM translator 3"
big front mount intercooler
scm61 trubo
3" turbo back
shep tranny
2600 act clutch
denso 720cc
afpr set at 38 psi
255 walbro pump hard wired

i just got a dsmlink for the 1st gen ..should i keep my 720cc denso's in or change them to 880cc pte ......cause i heard denso rates there injector 720cc at 37 psi fuel pressure...and pte rates there injector 880cc at 43-49psi fuel pressure...so at the same fuel pressure level they should flow almost the same right or wrong??

the 720cc and 880cc injectors flow pretty close to the same ... at 45 psi fuel pressure the 720cc flow 870cc so its pretty close .. but since the 720cc are rated at a lower psi then the 880cc havin higher fuel pressure might overrun there dutycycle ... so id go with the 880cc because there rated at just about stock fuel pressure and you will have more room to grow with them

PTE does seem to overrate their injectors (test at a higher psi) but according to the dsmlink manual they give a starting point that seems to get you in the ball park for each injector. Denso 720's are -38% while the PTE 880's are -46%

According to the DSM_Tuning_Sheet_v2.1, 720cc injectors flow 664.03 cc at stock 1g base fuel pressure (37 psi). 720cc injectors flow 732.31 cc at 45 psi. This is assuming these injectors are flow tested at 43.5 psi (industry standard) and Denso's standart as well.

PTE claims to flow test their injectors at 43.5 psi as well. My 660s have confirmed this with dsmlink as i am running 43 1/2 psi base w/ my AFPR. Many claim that they don't flow as high as PTE advertizes. My deadtimes for this injector are 450 microseconds MORE than the stock 450s were. This would cause these injectors to idle poorly and screw up even the high fuel trims where users are tuning with piggyback systems that do not have any deadtime control options. This causes users to think that these injectors are off by as much as their fuel trims are.
