This will be used with PTE BB 50 trim, with a safc 1, does it matter if i get 650 or 680? my max boost will be around 25psi

No it will not make a difference which way you go. Although the injector sizing will say 650 or 680, depending on the injector, they will flow more or less. The only way you will know is by having them sent out to get flow tested. Just to let you know, my Denso 660's are problem free with my 50 trim at 21 psi.

Actually, there is, but I do not know where to find it. I'm sure a quick search will yield results. Besides, calculating a formula for flow won't necessarily yield you the best results for real life applications. Do your research and you will see what type of injectors are most commonly used for X turbo at X psi.

Actually, there is a formula you can use to calculate how much injector you'll need. You can find the information here:

On a BB 50 Trim, if I was running 25psi, I'd want to keep my IDC's in the high 70's to low 80's (treat that as safe operating range for any injector in order to have longevity) and run 720's. Since you have an AFC, 650-680 is the max you can go before correction goes out of range. I don't envy the timing you'll have though.

Just my .02,

Andy

I would go with the FIC 650's over the PTE 680's. Even though the PTE's are rated to flow more, in real world testing they don't. Both FIC & PTE are made by the same company so you would think these 2 injectors would flow the same (PTE just advertised slightly higher as they probably test at a higher pressure) but in the real world for somereson they flow slightly less then the FIC's.
