Resolved Evo O2 housing

Will a 1g evo o2 housing fit a 2g? Som guy told me it would. I dont want to buy it and learn the opposite.

There's no such thing as a "1G evo O2 housing".

What's sold as the EVO oxygen sensor housing is just that; it's the oxygen sensor housing from one of the Lancer EVO models. It doesn't have anything to do with either the 1G or the 2G, except that it doesn't fit either of them unless you tweak the downpipe to suit.

And that's the real answer to your question; it won't fit unless you have a downpipe to suit; the outlet is at an angle and it won't seal to a normal 1G or 2G downpipe.

Thanks for the speedy reply! What would you recommend in it's place. I have a n1 dp and cat back. Would you suggest just porting the stock one or is there a better solution? I did'nt want to go with a o2 elim. dp because i was told there is problems bolting on different turbos to them. And as we all do i hate buying things twice. I figure i could get a n1 dp and always change the o2 housing to fit what i have.
Whats your opinion?
