I am about to put a 57-trim turbo to replace my 14b. I have a 190 and the rest of my mods(minus a few) are in my profile. My buddy whose turbo it was told me that I need the 255. I know I won't need one immediatly since I dont have an intercooler yet so my boost will be set fairly low. Also to go on will be 750cc injectors. I would like to know if or when (what boost or hp level) I will need to go to a 255, I thought the 190 would be ok until I got above like 400hp but Im not sure.

You do not "need" one... But, If you get one you will need an AFPR.

You will definatly need injectors, Something to tune them with, And a FMIC as soon as possible.
I hit fuel cut even in 2nd gear BAD with an SBR57trim and a stock smic and injectors. Don't beat the car until you get the rest of the mods you need, Or you WILL be sorry!

Above 400hp sounds about right.

I'm going to be running a 190 with cams and a SMIM and about 24psi on pump gas on my 50 trim this year, we'll see how far it can take me.

A rewired 190 at 20 psi boost (63 psi fuel pressure) will be good for 4 lbs/min of fuel, which translates to 44 lbs/min airflow at 11:1 AFR.
