When i bought my car, it already had Greddy Intercooler piping and a greddy type-s BOV that is venting to the atmosphere. There is something stuck in the hole in the air intake where the tube would normally hook up between the BOV and air intake. From what i have read about venting to the atmosphere, I would rather route the BOV back into the air intake, but this unknown object is stuck in there. Please take a look at the picture and tell me if you have any idea what this thing is...

looks like some kind of plug. unscrew the nut and if looks like it should come loose. you might need to get your hands on the recirc tube if you dont have it. that's the tube from the BOV to the intake.
Where can I get a recirc tube? Could i just use a coolant hose with clamps on it as an alternative to the recirc tube or is there a reason that this wouldn't work?

You may have to go to the dealer for a real replacement recirc tube, but the coolant hose idea should work as long as it's the right diameter and flexible enough to make the bend.

Make sure that when you losen that plug up
that nothing from that plug falls into your
intake tube ..ie... a nut or piece of rubber
dried piece of epoxy or something !If you don't notice it & you start your car up It will go right into your compressor wheel & tear your turbo up ! Just a thought .
