greddy type s bov

i have bought a greddy type s bov for my 97 eclipse gst. i am just wondering if it is better to leave the second nipple vented out to the air or to connect it back to something. i have heard conflicting views. input is appreciated.

you will continue to hear conflicted views.. some people say to use the 2nd nipple others will say it doesnt help.. the 2nd nipple is suppsed to help the response of the BOV but it make a difference on my car. I havent used the 2nd nipple in ages.
