Can I use a N/T FPR on my TSi?

Someone said they have a N/T FPR on there 1st gen since it flows more then a turbo model and there 255 fuel pump won't overrun it. I searched but didn't see anything on this subject can anyone give me an insight on this. Also how do you tell if your stock FPR is going bad I think mine is since I run lean even at stock boost levels with a rewired pump and a Denso 150 fuel pump. The pump is supposed to flow more then a Walboro 190 but I am not sure if this is true since I can't find the flow rates for the Denso. thanks

Let's not mislead everyone. All it does is raise your base fuel pressure, but if you are already overrunning the turbo FPR you will most likely overrun the NT. If you are overrunning get an AFPR and do it right. There are tons of threads covering this. Search for AFPR.

edit: sorry, failed to say raising base pressure is not a solution, it's a bandaid. you should be at stock pressure (37 or 39 psi if I recall correctly) unless you are running some wicked boost, like the folks running 9's and 10's.

Well in my case i'm not ovverunning the FPR, The diagphram in it is just going bad, thus allowing fuel into my vaccum lines :(

PM me, I have a turbo FPR in my garage if you want it.

Other than raising the base pressure are there any benefits? How am I running lean on stock boost?
