Well did a rebuild car, turned on nicely and was running then all of a sudden it shut off... Noticed the alternator belt became unloose.... Well connected it back and still car wont start.... Changed to another battery and still wont start... Anyone have any idea what it can be?

Yup checked for spark and fuel.... And took off the spark plug and checked for compression...

Is your DSMLink chip burned for your 750cc injectors? When you killed the battery the ECU chip loses all of its settings and reverts to whatever defaults you bought it with... maybe that will help you?

Maybe you just need to reselect one option to make the car run again.

My ecu is chipped for 650s and they are still on the car... I have 750s but not installed...

Did you reload all of your DSMLink settings back onto the ECU? Even though it should still start with the defaults it couldn't hurt to try.

Could you be more specific than "car wont start"? Does it just crank, or does it sound like it just needs a little more help to start? Like it stumbles a little while cranking but never actually fires up? I hope I'm stating the obvious; have you tried pushing the gas pedal down while cranking to see if that gives it some help? If you have fuel and spark and compression, the only other basic thing to check is to see if you are getting enough air into the motor.

I don't know if suddenly dying on the initial start-up would damage anything or not. Probably not?

Well its cranking fine but feels like it needs something to start it...I have the coil on plug ignition for a late 95 model and I dont know if my car is early or late... Dont know if that could be it... All this happened when I was trying to find an oil leak and I took off the alternator belt.... Thanks for the help...

Have you checked for timing? See if everything lines up where it should be, belt may have been loose and jumped. Check that all timing marks lines up properly.
If the timing belt was off wouldn't that affect his compression?

Compression wouldn't be affected in a case where the timing belt had jumped. It will however, inject gas and spark at the wrong time so it won't start or will start but would have a very rough idle. In any case, he checked that already so I'm thinking maybe a plug is not in all the way somewhere ie. Intake/MAS plug.

I thought that the valves opening at different times would cause the car to lose compression. I guess it doesn't make that big of a difference.

My car idled with the MAS sensor unplugged. Of course, you should check yours too.

Does DSMLink show that everything is working right? It's showing RPMs while cranking and whatnot? Otherwise I'm inclinded to agree that something simple got itself unplugged.

Timing did not jump... We thought thats what happened at first but turned the motor manually and valves were not hitting pistons. On the dsmlink no codes are coming out well only the code for the rear o2 because my o2housing is not connected to my downpipe yet.. Im guessing its either a crank sensor( not sure because a code is not being thrown) or the coil on plug ignition is for a late 95 model. ( not sure if mine is early or late, does it matter?)

The valves don't necessarily have to hit the pistons to have bad timing. Mine jumped probably about 2-3 teeth, could barely tell looking at the cam gears as well, and it didn't start. Just wanna make sure that when you checked for timing that you matched all the timing marks like the cam gears, balance shafts, oil something which requires removing the timing belt cover. BTW, when the belt jumped on mine the symptoms were similar like the engine cranks with spark, fuel and compression present, and it felt like it was just about to start like it was firing on a cylinder or two.
