TRE Fuel Pump

Has any one used this fuel pump? I was wondering if it's any quieter than a Walbro.

Would think noise would be least of your worries. I'd be more concerned with performance and long-term durability. At ~$20 less the cost of a Walbro, not worth the risk IMO.

BTW.. a Walbro's "whine" is hardly noticable with any decent 2.5"+ exhaust system

I can only hear mine when I put the ignition on and pump primes itself. After that I don't hear it. Get a Walbro.

My walbro has never let me down. I've had it for 3 years. I can hear it, its not loud, just turn up the radio if it bothers you so much.

I can only hear mine when my tank gets low. It's just a friendly reminder to fill up.

That doesn't look Like Team Rip Engineering. When it comes to fuel, stick with the tried and true. Walbro 255lph.

Ya it isnt Team Rip that is based in Michigan it is just some stupid eBay company selling crap. Just get a walboro.

I visited TRE's site and couldn't find anything about them selling fuel pumps. Either the product was discontinued or they never made them in the first place. Either way, you should get the Walbro.

Yea that is some other team rip! Go with a Supra TT pump if you want the best reliable pump that is quiet! I have Been running a walbro in the wifes supercharged mustang and my lt1 vette! Never let me down! DO NOT SKIMP ON A FUEL PUMP! Your engine depends on it I run the supra pump in my gsx

Not that there needs to be another opinion, but DO NOT go cheap as stated above. I went with the Supra pump for almost double the cost of the walbro and wouldn't do it any other way. I have also run multipe Walbro pumps in other cars, and I prefer the quietness of the Supra pump to them. I am doing a custom Twin Supra pump setup intank for my Turbo WS6 I am building at the moment.
