ok, i have a hks high power exhaust on a 97 eagle talon tsi awd. If been looking around for piping diameters and can only find that the hks is 75mm. What im want to do is get a apexi n1 downpipe which is 60mm to 80mm, all i need to know is will that bolt up to the hks? I know it eliminates the cat but im just not sure since the apexi is 3'' and the hks is made to bolt up to the size of the factory cat.

As long as your exhaust isn't twisted under your car or something like that it will bolt up. If i remember right you MIGHT have to egg out the holes SLIGHTLY. Shouldn't but there is always that odd chance.

actually there should be a difference in length between the 2. I got the same car and I have a apexi turbo back, but before I got the down pipe I had to use an adapter so it would bolt to my cat. That adapter is roughly 4-5" and being that they make the down pipe to fit that cat back you will probably be a little short. does that make sense? :talon:
