What do u guys think of it, is it too large a turbo for street use. I can find anything on spools times i knows it a large turbo i just wanted to get some input if anyone knows!?? thanx

its big its streetalbe. anything is streetable. a T88 is streetable. its all a question of if you like lag or not. that turbo is probally laggy. looking at 4k and up for full boost. get a AGP turbo. a few hundred more but you get power and fast spool up.

That should be fine. I'm going to be runnig a 60-1 trim on my car. I got mine from slowboyracing.com. You might want to contact any turbo vendor which you're thinking of buying from and getting their input on their turbo's. That's how I decided to get mine from Mike.

A 60 trim turbo is a great setup for a street DSM. In fact, it is about as big as I would go for a daily driver/street driven 4 cylinder as it still has very nice spool capapbilities, and also flows a lot of air, and is also a very efficient pump gas turbo. While SOURCE1064 will be making a bit more power than you on race gas, you'll be able to (with proper tuning!!) be able to make more power than he will on pump gas; and the reason is none other than efficiency. The 60-1 is a nice proven turbo, it moves a lot of air, but is not the most efficient (it heats the air up rather quickly) turbo on the market. It WILL make good power, and it CAN spool pretty decent, but not as good as the 60 trim on pump gas. (I'm not flaming the 60-1..I actually like that turbo, and am well aware of it's capabilities..just answering his question about the 60 trim, and trying to put some perspective in there.)
