I need to know if the cat from a turbo DSM is the same as a Nonturbo, and if they are not are the bolt patterns the same so you can use it for either?

If I remember correctly NT's have 2.25 while turbos have 2.5, which means they may not bolt up. What are you trying to do? Use a turbo cat on NT muffler?

Basically most cats are universal in it's function for use in other cars. Yes the diameter may be different, but the piping can be cut off and the correct diameter be welded on with new flanges also. For the flanges to mate up, however, that may not allways work unless you pull one off at a junk yard from the same model.
Where ever you get one, you could goto an exhaust shop and ask to re-weld a new set of flanges on a cat you bring in to fit. If it's used, you'll have to make sure the honeycombs are mostly not all clogged. Some shops might be sticklers and only allow to install their own cats if you patron them.
Knowing the total miles on a used one is a good idea too. An exhaust shop may charge about 50bux or more for their services with new flanges. So I'd call around for quotes first if you are going to do that. OR I have one available if you are interested?
