I have a supra TT fuel pump and 650cc injectors... I was just wondering what type of gas milage i should be expecting. I also need a FPR and im wondering if that will help the gas milage.. Thanks

Should be able to get whatever the car did stock. I get 28-30mpg on my 2g with 550's and Supra TT pump (with AFPR of course).
 
OK well I'm counting on the fact that no AFPR is killing gas millage. im not even getting 20mpg... what are some other things that make gas milage worse?
 
I'm running a Walbro 255 LPH, 650 cc injectors and STOCK fpr (go ahead, flame on). I've heard from many people that I need an adjustable fpr, but as long as I'm getting the 28 mpg I'm getting while running 12's, I'm set.

People are telling you to get an AFPR because, while you're OK right now, the stock FPR will fail eventually with the larger fuel pump. That's all. If you're lucky it fails gradually and you lose MPG (and leave clouds of smoke on accel). If you're not lucky, you go out to the car and it suddenly won't start anymore because it's flooding the engine as soon as you turn the key...

What reduces MPG? Assuming all the parts are working properly (like O2 sensor, etc.), some things are: wider tires, big ugly wings, etc...
 
How are you tuning?AFC?If you just throw injectors on and have no way of tuning for them then there you go.

Mine with 850's on a 255 with stock FPR can get 35mpg doing 70 on the interstate.Mods and MPG shouldn't be to connected so long as you have it tuned right.

Unless you're quite horribly out of range, the ECU is able to use your nice little O2 sensor to figure out how to make the car run good at cruising :)

Well yea but theres the problem-hes obviously out of range.Which falls back to the "no way of tuning-theres your problem" answer.

I had one of the keydriver chips.Worked really well except it was about 20% off.I have an AFC which took care of things.

I had the exact same problem as the original poster,light to heavy cruise would peg out my trims then it would just go pig rich.I got the same answer when I asked why so rich-get another FPR.Instead I bought a eprom burner and burn my own now which after several variations has got me a best 35mpg and I run 26-28 psi @ almost 2600hz on a hacked 2g maf burning pump daily.
 
the way you drive your car, if youre hitting full boost each time before you shift the gears dont expect good mpg..... shift under 3000rpm and youll see difference. but most of us really, wouldnt put mpg in front of hitting full boost .....
 
that shouldnt be hard to check, check sparkplugs, cables , compression .....
