Just like the title says , went to start my car and lately it's been taking longer and longer to start. Fired right up today and died just as fast. Fired it up again, died within a couple seconds. Then smoke come out from under the hood. I open the hood and the DIS-II is smoking like it's going out of style, so I run in the car and grab my wire cutters and cut the power. Things calm down and now my car is immoble at school.
I know that if I find the factory harness and splice it back into the plug that goes into the coil pack (the triangular shaped plug with a blue/something, green/red, and black/yellow wires in it, right?), I can get my car home until I can get something worked out with MSD for a new unit.
The problem is that I can't find the factory harness for the coil pack. Can someone tell me where this branches off of? Follow it back from the plug and see where it goes. I need to know where it comes from so I can track down the harness from there. The car came with the MSD, so I don't know where the previous owner hid the harness, or if he cut it off altogether
