Megan downpipe and Thermal R&D cat back.

Ok i was just wondering if the Megan downpipe will match up with the Thermal R&D cat back on my 97 gs-t. And I believe the Megan downpipe eliminates the cat.? Ive heard good things about both so i was wanting to save some money but also get a good cat back. Also do you think this exhaust set up would be good to run with a 20g in the future.?

i have a megan DP on my 2g and love it. it eliminates the cat and is cheap, good stuff.

now that i have got that out of the way, will this downpipe mouth to thermal r&d catback, think this would be a good setup for a 20g with supporting mods???

The thermal necks down to meet with a stock cat, once you get your thermal, bring it to a shop, have them chop off that old flange and have them weld a 3" flange on instead.

If your Megan doesn't neck down at all and its a 3" flange then you should be set. Best of luck to you!

I just ordered my Megan Downpipe and I bought the Axleback part of the thermal for 170 shipped used I just have to get a mid pipe made... After Thankgiving I should get it all bolted up and ill try to post sounds clips like everyone is wanting
