Venting to Atmos?

I just got my 95 Tsi, and the blow off valve seems to make a wierd noise. It flutter's in a way, instead of the high pitched noise common.
Idle seems to be sparatic aswell.

that my friend is compressor surge. like a chh chh chh stuttering noise right? try loosening it.

wrong

that means its super loose, my RFL flutters at 2 psi. tighten it a bit and the fluttering will go away

Yes, i agree i also experienced the fluttering sound when my spring was set to the softer side...

what? i thought u loosen it if it flutters?

If you get compressor surge that mean the BOV is too tight and it's not opening at low boost. Does it happen when going under boost and then you slowly release the trottle?
