I recently decide i can't afford my car hobby and my computer hobby, so i sold my 3 computers and now have $3200 to spend on my DSM, but here is the question. I realy want a 2.3L stroker from ffwdconnection.com but i found a 1g AWD talon close to me with low miles and the guy only wants 2g for it.

what would you do?

thats tough. Just think about what you really want more I guess. You could always buy the car and try to sell it for more (if it is worth more.)

i figured i could part out my lazer for around 500-700 that would give me plenty of money to start modding the talon right after i get it

I'd definately get AWD over a stroker FWD. The FWD won't be able to get traction for anything. Also skip the middle man (FFWD connection) & go straight to the source (bjscylinderhead.com) for the motor.

so its a BJ motor ahhh.... i did not know that. BJ is a great guy to deal with thanks for that info ken

just for the record thats incorrect info darren does build his own motors he also does so very meticulously and with great pride after seeing him build a motor when i got to have one done hands down i will have him do it ffwd connection is a very honest knowledgeable and profesional shop
