Assuming you have a larger fuel pump, and all of the other basic supporting mods, could one install a big 16g or big t28 on 2g DSM with only a larger fuel pump?

I believe that you could. But, I would imagine that you couldnt run over 12 lbs of boost. Of course, the person doesnt have a SAFC either. He simply has the turbo sitting in his room and would like to install it with his injectors.

He currently has a FMIC, UICP, BOV, Exhaust, dp, boost and egt gauge, turbo timer, mbc, and intake.

So, what do you guys think? Will he be okay running around 12 lbs on a Big 16G with only a fuel pump. Remember, the question "cant it be done safely"?

Thanks.

From my understanding of fuel vs turbo, the injectors are more important than the fuel pump if I had to pick one because they both are. However, even with 93 octane gas, with out injectors or the AFC, you won't get the full potential out of Big16G or BigT28..

Understandable.
Most people purchase Denso injectors, but is there really anything wrong with RC Engineering injectors? I know alot of other import owners who use them and have no problems. But, I dont see many DSM owners using them. Any quarrels?

Thanks.

I haven't heard a peep, but then again, I've only been looking at starting mods (Intake, exhaust, boost gauge and whatnot...). Can't help you in that respect.

I ran a Big28 for awhile on 15lbs with just an upgraded fuel pump. I started to hit fuel cut after I added FMIC.
