I've done the fuel pump re-wire already with my Walbro 255 fuel pump. I couldn't tell if it made a difference or not. Don't know how to use a voltmeter thingie.

Anyways, I was wondering:
-What happens if the new wire I ran goes bad or breaks somehow while the car is on?
*Will the car just shut off? detonate? blow up?

Thanx,

You should have a fuse in an inline holder on the new wire. If the wire does get damaged or or anything the fuse wil go out. This will cause the pump to quit pumping. Replace the fuse and you will be okay.
