ETE32 turbo

Hey guys this is my firs post here, and I have a question for you. Just sold my 18G and was wonderring what your thoughts are on the ETE32 turbo,TO4E 50trim,t3 turbine with 7 cm housing? any help would help. the car is a AWD 2g with lots of mods, would like to see about 450wheel hp. thanks.....

Im not sure if you know John Wiess. He is on the Extreme turbo website. I have actually met him a few times.(I was over his house last night infact.) He has I think, a 92 Talon. He runs the ETE32. All usual supporting mods, 2 maf. He runs 11.50s at over 121mph! There is no secret to his car. He does this without nitrous. On a 4 wheel dyno, he made 379whp, w/ them blowing the head gasket. Ask JDMAWD what his impressions are of this turbo. He also has one.

Thanks GSX4LIFE, if I can see 11.5's on daily basis I would be happy, I know opinions vary but this turbo looks good so far. My last concern would be with the wastegate size 34mm or 39mm. I'm also in the process of rebuilding my engine so I have lots of time to think about it..

first let me say i don't have any 1/4 mile times with my car yet. but i can comment on the drivability aspects of this turbo. i have been lazily *i will admit* tuning this turbo for a couple weeks now. at this point i run 22 psi on 94 octane Sunoco with zero knock and a Max timing advance of 20*'s. my experience with this turbo is super quick spool up. the internal gate works great. boost shoots to 22 psi instantly, and literally stops and hold the desired boost level until red line. boost start to build just under 2000 and reaches full boost 22 psi by 3600. pretty cool huh. the guys and girls down at extreme turbo are very helpful and will definitely help advise you towards the best turbo to suit your needs. my turbo was built and at my door in 5 days. also one thing to consider, if you are going to get the ET*E* 32. for water pipe clearance reasons, i opted for the hahn.500mm manifold spacer plate and long arp manifold studs. it really helps to clear the lower water neck on 1 st gen cars. if you have a 2nd gen its not as critical but still helpful.

I was running 20 psi everyday on sunoco94 on my 18G and it spooled up pretty quick. When people post that they run x in the 1/4 on race gas it doesn't apply to me . I want to keep running 20-23 psi in full street form on pump gas. Thanks for the helpfull hints..

does anybody have any pics of that turbo. Would like to see the difference between 16-18G turbo and the ete32(compressor)side.. Also I now have the Injen intake, is it possible to make it fit the ete by cutting the elbow and using a 3inch 90deg elbow?.

I did the porting and polishing and a local machine shop did the valve job..
