I have done some small searches on this and was wondering if anyone thought this was a suitable upgrade
http://sdalto.photosite.com/SkylineFMIC/
I am interested in this fmic cause I want the sleeper look and with a darker fmic i wont have tot get it anadiozed( :thumb: )So all info and comments would be greatly appreciated.

I meant what I said, ANADIOZED;to coat a metallic surface electrolytically with a protective or decrotive oxide. So there is no paint involved(loss of efficiency) or powdercoating(same as painting). It was anadiozing that i was interested in. But to get back on subject now. Does anyone have any info on this fmic, and weather or not it could handle a 50-trim and supporting mods with water injection??????

Well the Skyline R33-R35 output is a claimed 260-320 from the factory but its rumored that this was a low est. The end tank design is good and with W/I I'm sure you not going to have any problems. Of coarse you will need to fabricate up I/C pipes. Would like to see some photos of this mounted and any clearance problems.

Thanks for the reply man, I have also read that that number (tq,hp) was underrated and since it is good for around 320 hp I was also under the influence this would def work out quite well and I also love the endtank design, reminds me of the dv/t fmic, just a lot smaller and not so pretty but since I'm looking for a darker low key fmic I like it a lot thanks for the reply. I would really like to know if anyone has actually done this or tried to do it. Moderators, Wisman yall got anything to say or what???

If you want to get it I say go for it, it looks cool. But if you only want it because it looks "sleeper" then I would not buy it. No FMIC is sleeper, I dont care how big it is or what color it is. There are a few Civics that have there FMIC's black around here and as soon as I see them I can tell they have a FMIC. Oh and if you really want your car to be sleeper, I would get rid of the grey trim. Most of the people where I live know what that the grey trim = turbo.

I want it for performance at a cheaper price than the name brand intercoolers, that over price a intercooler that cost them less than 600 to make but they sell for 1200. I really wish I could get an intercooler that is used for a cheap, and this one seems suitable. What are ya'll opinion( wow that sounds so southern)YALL WTF

Also I don't know if you read this post about anodizing your IC it be talked about to death at once a month.
http://dsmtuners.com/forums/showthread.php?t=130193&highlight=painting+intercooler

Actually I have read that thread to death as for many others, I have ran out of threads to read on this site that is why I have recently signed up with sddsm.org to read more and more forums on dsm's. So what are you asking me then about anodizing???I have read that forum I am knowledgable on the matter and .... WTF Yea so anyway any more input from anyone the gt-r skyline fmic?????

If you're going for the sleeper look, I would replace those tail lights first. :p

I keep getting this same comment about those tailights in different threads, I will update my gallery to show all that after failing with my project of painting the euros with stained glass paint (they looked $hitty) I decided to go back to stock look and I liked it much better. But a side note to that, how about this god d@mn intercooler????????? Someone give me some info on this beast!!

Someone please give me constructive advice on this intercooler, its being offered for 225 plus shipping, should I save and get a rnr race core or sbr core or just get this skyline piece seeing as how the price is pretty nice???

One of our FWD car running the same intercooler with TDO5H turbine housing and TDO6 20G turbo, 2 1/2" hard piping at 1.5 bar (22psi) and EMS. The car get best 1/4 mile time of 11.7sec and 120mph trap speed with semi slick tires (sort of drag radial). The driveshaft broke on the fourth run. This car using a stock JDM VR4 engine with HKS 272 cam.... The poor 1/4 mile timing because of the traction problem with the semi slick tires..... Owner planning to use nitto for the next event in september.

it probably is capable of cooling the air for your 50 trim, the only reason you would want a bigger intercooler then this would be to prevent heat soak. i dont know if you know about this guy, but he uses one on his 14b, and it is fast. go here to check it out, http://www.arctic-racing.com he does offer to give you a how to on how he installed it.

There's no such thing as an R35, and there never will be.

The current (and still GT-Rless) skyline chassis is the V35.

I would deff. pressure test that beast. It looks pretty beat. It will be amazing if it holds air.
