i know the stock boost gauge isnt extremely accurate but my boost gauge pegs out at 14psi as soon as it spools up. since ive been told the stock turbo setup is running 10-11 psi is this just a gross innacuracy on the gauges part, am i hitting high boost with a well built engine and got lucky...or is there simply a problem with the gauge or it just needs to be replaced with an aftermarket gauge....
also while im on the subject....when installing an aftermarket boost gauge. i dont need any extra wiring do it? cant you just pull the wire out of the back of the gauge cluster that connects to the factory gauge and hook it up to the aftermarket unit? and mount it somewhere?
