What should my pyrometer be at ???

I have a 98 eclipse gsx 5 speed with the 6 bolt swap! And here is my mods so far, t3 t4 sc61 turbo 4" intake Apexi filter, 3" exhaust and muffler, b/s removed , fidnaza flywheel, act 2600 clutch, i have the 255 pump never got it in yet. And my pyrometer out on the higway at normal driving is around 1400 1425 or so at about a 110km/h! This is to high im running to lean arent i?? I have a datalogger never got here yet. Im buying a afc this week, and im looking for bigger injectors!! Also if anyone knows of some good inectors for sale p.m me thanks!!
 
By "pyrometer" I assume you mean an EGT (Exhaust Gas Temperature Gauge). It matters where you have it tapped. Is it on the exhaust manifold, if so where on it? Is it somewhere else?

In general I would say that temp doesn't sound to high from the other numbers I have heard. But each car is different and I don't have an EGT so I can't really comment on what I find normal.

Also you have a sc61 on stock fuel pump and injectors? I hope your boost is set to like 0 psi. What are your fuel trims at? Any fuel tuning mods? (dsmlink, SAFC, MAFT)
 
I think you need to do your fuel mods and make adjustments after logging, before you drive the car under boost hard, or cruise at high rate of speed for an extended amount of time.
 
I know this is a very big turbo and im hardly boosting at all tops is 10 psi usally like 6 psi i have a greddy ebc! Im waiting for my logger, and im also getting a afc this week and looking for bigger injectors LOL Im not driving the car very hard. I wonder if i put in my 255 pump alone would this do anything for the time being/?? Help richen things up a bit? I tapped the pyro(egt) into my # 1 runner! Thanks!
 
Installing the 255 would definitely help richen it up. It would also cause your fuel pressure regulator to be overrun (unless you are getting an aftermarket one, but I didn't read that anywhere). Your temps sound perfectly fine to me. At 900c/1652f your engine will start to melt. A little excerpt for Road Race Engineering's website.

A leaner mixture will give you more power by making more heat. Too much heat, and things start to melt. You need to find out what's going on inside the motor before it's too late. Your car will never feel so fast as when the pistons are just beginning to melt. Most people who install an EGT are amazed at how close to the edge they are running. This is a must if you are going to experiment. We install the temperature probe in the exhaust manifold to get the most accurate reading. We prefer to mount the probe in the runner for cylinder number one since it seems to run the hottest.

Now in the top of third gear you should be touching 900c. This gear is producing the most power. To give you an idea of what the normal highway cruise temps are on my car. At 80 mph/128kph, I run around 790c/1454f. This is in 5th gear.
