Hey i was starting to change my fuel pump, and i got to the, i believe feed line, and i COULD NOT get the two separated.. THen this happened to the metal nipple coming off of the cover, i'm assuming it isn't safe to drive like this, but i can't even get the two lines separated. What do i do??

yeah, i had the right tools, ya know line wrenches and all that bull... Yeah, mine still broke too, wanna know why? because it was rusted to all hell and it had not been touched in almost 16 years, so it could happen to anyone. I was quoted at over 450 bucks for a new fuel pump assembly so what we did is got some brake line and soldered the old fitting on to it and fed the brake line down to the bottom and soldered it to the old fitting for the fuel pump. It worked well and after it was all done it's as good as new. If you can find a decent one in a bone yard, go for it, but I doubt they're gonna be all that great still, if you can even get it off the car period.
