Im thinking of ggeting an Exhaust Manifold and i dont know which one to get and which one will fit i have a stock 14b turbo in 92 AWD TSI and stock exhoust manafold and i dont know what to get can somone help me out and will it gain some power or anything thx

i would say get a ported 2g manifold. I dont know how much power its goning to give you but it will help.

As long as the stock manifold isnt all cracked id say just port it out a bunch, unless your gonna upgrade turbos soon.

even just a stock 2g manny will flow a lot better then the stock 1g manny.

and yes i agree, couple it with a good 2g o2 housing and maybe a nice DP.

should end up sounding better too. just make sure when you pull the manny you replace the manny studs and maybe the turbo bolts.

it will make future endevors A LOT easier.

What he said, I wished I did that when I put my EVO3 manny on. Broke 3, stripped 1 bolt. Didnt notice and power difference but I'm stock as you except a filter.

yeah i think im joust going to go with the 2g manny and o2 housing all ported and i allredy have a full exhouse with nown pipe and no cats :) Greddy :) thenx for making it easy on me

Honestly, Id say wait until middle of July and buy SBR's new cast manifold, since they old one is now M.I.A. SBR's quality is some of the best, and thats exactly what I would do.

IS there a Manifold to fit the 14b and the 16g turbos? I have the 14b, but down the road might go to a 16g, and not want to sell a aftermarket manny to get another one.

both the 16g and the 14b are the td05h housing if im not mistaken and will both bolt up to the 1g and 2g manifold as well as the sbr cast one that is coming in july. Its the mitsu housing so any mitsu compatible manny will bolt up.

I hate to be the guy who makes this post but, there are other mods that you should worry about before an exhaust manifold.

The biggest/cheapest gain will come from a boost controller and gauge so you can turn it up to 14.5psi instead of 11psi.

Also get rid of fuel cut somehow. Free mod or whatever. A 2g mani ported is around $200 so you have room to work with. Gmaf and translater are $250, that would be nice.

Lets not forget the all important high flow fuel pump and downpipe combo, that combined with the fuel cut removal would be fun.

Basically think about the future. Do you really want to only go as far as a big16g? You want atleast the evo3 16g so wait until then. you'll need the evo3 16g mani and 02 with the 7cm collectors instead of 6.5.
