Head Gasket Swap Issue

I recently blew my head gasket and replaced it with an OEM. Retorqued my ARP head studs to 100 ft/lbs torque with motor oil. Car started and ran for about 20 minutes and ran great except when I turned it off, I heard several ticking/popping noises. The next day it didn't start, so I did a compression test and I got 120, 130, 60, 140. The compression test I did the day before the head gasket swap was 175 across the board. Timing marks all look good, so I don't think it is the valves. The car is a 95' 7-bolt.

Any help would be appreciated.

well the cylinder that says 60 is your prob,could be valves or rings.but with the uneven compression test/120, 130, 60, 140.i would say its time for an overhaul.i know im gettin 150 cross the board with new motor.

squirt a little bit of oil into the low cylinder and re-run a compression test if it is your rings it will temporarily seal the ring and raise the compression...

A leak down test or a wet compression test are the first things to try. That's about the only answer we can accurately give you if you're sure you t-belt didn't skip a few teeth.
