I don't believe that the MAS will read pressurized air correctly, I believe air has to be drawn thru not blown thru. Anyone feel differently?

Well, first-off man, lay off the caps. I don't know how long you've been on the "in-ter-net" but it makes you look like a loser.

Second off, my guess is the air is too turbulent and hot for the MAF to work correctly. The air coming out of the turbo is hot-hot-hot, and the MAF is plastic, and moving at a very fast clip. Also, I've heard that the air near the TB is too unstable for the MAF to count correctly.

So, that's why people don't put the MAF after their Blow-Off-Valve :)

*edit* oh yeah, the barometric pressure sensor in the MAF can't read very pressurized air as well.

maf runs off hertz..you will have serious miscount if it is located within a pressurized system.
If you are looking to move your airflow sensor, either go with a speed-density setup, hotwire, vpc/gcc or afc combo, or just leave well enough alone.

I this better. Where do people put the MAF when the inlet side of the turbo is open?
