I looked in the tech articles and it shows step by step instructions how to install it in a gst. Anything different to a gsx? I know the tanks are different but should this guide work?
ALSO: What else would I need to work properly?
mods:
ross racing pistons
evob-16g
fmic 12x24
3" cat eliminator
balance shaft elim

Use the vfaq, thats what I used when I installed my 190 and it made it easy. The difference between an awd and fwd is that the pump is not in the center, rather off to the left if you are facing the rear. The most difficult part of this install is getting the fuel line fitting broken loose under the car. Make sure you get the flare wrenches, I believe its a 19mm and 14mm. Otherwise you WILL strip the fittings.

In terms of other mods, you are going to def need an FPR for that 255 as well as some larger injectors, probably in the mid 6XXcc range. That and some sort of fuel control ie SAFC, MAFT, Link, Pro-M.

Good luck and I would definitely read through the vfaq 2 times before you do it. Its not hard, there are just a few little things that *could* go wrong that would turn into bigger issues.

I didn't break that line loose under the car. Instead I made a huge cut, instead of the small one they show on the VFAQ and pulled the pump assembly out. The only thing I noticed was that the baggie on the FP got cought up, but you just had to keep pulling.

The one down side to using this method, is putting the sending unit float back in. It makes it a little bit harder to put back in place (using the bigger cut method) and my gauge read 3/4 full at first (on a full tank). The second time I had to go back in there (to fix the skruntched up o-ring), when I was done the gas gauge now reads below empty all the time(waiting to see the light before I gas up now), so I think if I ever decide to go back in there, I'd reposition the sending unit float and see if that would correct the gauge problem.

Tips: Use the plyers to break that screw loose and make sure your o-rings are not tillted in the holes they go in, or you'll be doing it again because your car won't have the pressure to build boost (don't ask me how I know :tease: :shhh: ). Be patient when installing the top seal to the gas tank it takes a little bit to work it back on.
