I have narrowed the search down to a trim size, just trying to pick the internal goodies..
engine mods:
i will not run nitrous this year, but maybe sometime in the future.
motor will have ross 8.5:1 pistons, eagle rods, ss stock sized valves, hks 272's, and standard cast t3 manifold.
as well as other supporting mods.

I like the looks of the T04E 60 trim with stage 3 wheel and .63 a/r.
But then I start looking at larger comp housings, different wheels, and different a/r.
Does anyone know if the 'super' 60 trim, is just the above mentioned combo with a stage 5 wheel?
Just looking for input from other sources, probably won't affect my decision, but the information is nice to have.
Thanx.

If you dont plan to run nitrous, stick with either a 50 trim or 60 trim. Anything larger you will see significant lag. Even the 60 trim is pretty laggy for street use IMO. 50 trim with stage 3 wheel is what I suggest for a street car.

what a bunch of b.s.
the 'wiseman' simply replies its to laggy? what sort of information do you have to support this? What is Too laggy for you?..i know it is not going to be like a small 16g in spool-up.
and a green model? maybe I don't want a bolt on turbo, maybe i consider the green small?...
thanx for the imput guys, but geez..i was actually looking for someone that has used these turbos with a setup similar to mine/have some hard numbers for me to look at.
thanks again, im not trying to be rude, but please try to justify your answer with some numbers, i am not a newbie, and don't trust peoples opinions.

This is the cockiest reply I have ever heard from someone that considered himself not a newbie. I can come back and spend my time with you but you know what, people like you dont deserve my time. Talking about no experience, I own a Green and a few locals here run T04E 60 and T04S 60-1 Garrett. I know how they run, so go bolt on whatever you like. Another ricer thinking bolting on the bigger turbo and run some 10s

Btw, you are part of the reason why *Wiseman* will not reply to such a newbie post.. Saying you are not a newbie but asking newbie question

At this point, i would suggest contacting a couple turbo shops/venders. contrary to popular belief, *most* are very knowledgeable and are more than willing to help you choose a turbo that will fit you're needs/goals. the reason i say this, is because the most common Internet suggestion is buy X turbo because guy x went x 1/4 time with x turbo. that maybe great information, but may not be relevant to you're situation. Mike at slowboy,Daniel and extreme and the guys at turbochargers.com are awesome, and very helpful. just an idea

BTW. this is still the internet, take all advice with a HUGE grain of salt.

WOW - I don't get the purpose in blasting people who reply? If your not prepared for a vague answer don't ask a vague question.

Well I appologize if it seemed like a 'blast' i replied with, it was running on 3 hours of sleep after a 11hr work day.
It was my fault for not stating my question to be more specific to my needs. I appologize to jw to blasting him, i was just attempting to do some research, its just that everytime that I do come across a turbo thread the first umpteen replies state 'get this, get that' with no supporting evidence, I was attempting to avoid this senario, but apparently I failed and just ticked everyone off.
And btw, I do know how to read a compressor map, I am just a little confused to the different exhaust stages (i know it consists of a larger diameter hole/wheel in the exhaust housing, just want to know why the stage '3' is the most popular choice).
Thanx to everyone that simply horred in this thread by replying 'yeah...what an a$$ and whatnot'. I love being referred to as a 'ricer' seeing as the only rice my car has are the aftermarket rims and the window tint.
I do not consider myself a newbie to most 'answers', but I still have alot of 'basic' questions, as well as some advanced ones occasionally.
If one were to actually look at my original post with what I was trying to ask in reply, they would see that I was asking specific questions, just not specific enough.
Once again sorry jw for stepping on your toes..i guess this thread should just be erased, since i doubt it will actually turn into something informative like I had hoped.
amd jwdawd...thank you for the post, I have actually asked a few vendors and 'shops' questions, but they usually don't know the answer I am looking for. (1 shop, and 1 vendor, both I'd wish not do disclose).
Sincerely
