If I purchase that inter-cooler, and use it on a stock set up, will it affect it any other way than for the better?

Your stock setup turbo outlet is pointing towards the passenger side. As you can see in the picture, this FMIC setup for turbo outlet facing the driver side. Also for stock turbo, you dont want such a big intercooler, you will see more lag. This IC is good for a larger turbo such as a 20G and up.

Here is turbo with the elbow welded. It's not quite as bad as it looks because I rotated the comp housing some so it would clear the exaust side.

Oh yea that's what happens when you get carried away with the beer when your working under the car J/K. That was a puddle of oil that got mixed with water. I couldn't figure out why it turned green though. It is pretty nasty though.

Yep that's the big 28. I finally finished the install today. I drove the car a little but I didn't dog it just yet. I'm always paraniod when I first put the car back together especially when I have to take the turbo off. So I let it idle for about 10 min. then drive around the block and check for leaks. Then I take it down the street and put a little boost to it and check for leaks again. That's what I did tonight so tomarrow I'll see how it really runs. Oh yea more pics are on the way.

Thats a nice looking FMIC. I was running the IRC Street FMIC with my 14B and I had no problems whatsoever with the lag.

I got the street core. Next size is the super street and then the race.

Well preliminary testing has gone well. I haven't even tuned with it yet but it pulls hard. Lag isn't really that bad ethier ( I expected it to be worse). I'll get my logger and tune tonight.

I even got my first race. My cousin just got his 5.0 fixed and wanted to run me on the interstate. He's got a K&N, flows, gears ( not sure what gear he has), and 100 shot nitrous. Well with out his juice from 60 mph I smoked him. With the juice we were pretty even. I may have pulled barely but not enough to talk about. I was only running 15 psi. In plan on turning it up to 18psi when I tune it. He was definitly surprised to look over and see me beside him while he was spraying though

i have it written down somewhere but I'm not sure. I think it's 24" long and 2.75 or 3.0 thick. I would pissing in the wind if even tried to guess the height because I don't have a clue. I'll try to find the exact demensions tomarrow.
