I recently bought a 1990 gsx, and i'm starting my mods. Which intake would be best? I am currently looking into getting a DejonTool CIP-1gP. Further down the road I'll be getting the GM MAFT and MAF. Which intake is the best?

Just make sure you get a good filter and not some cheap ass one. Turbos do not like small debris going through them. I would just do your whole MAFT setup and intake all at once. :thumb: Even if you have to wait a few weeks....

That pipe will good for what you want, the ability to just swap in a MAF.

But.... if your getting the MAF so you can vent your BOV (which is the only reason you would "need" one soon), your going to need to mount it on the upper IC piping, between the BOV and Throttle body. Alot of companies, DejonTool included, make a UICP that has a space for a MAF to be installed.

Since you already know what you have in mind for the car, you would be best doing both at once. Either get an Intake pipe that elimnates the stock MAS and get a UICP that you can intall a MAF onto, or just the the pipe you have picked out.

So, whats your reasons for needing a MAF?

i wanna run blow through. i've been reading up and the pro's outweigh the cons for the GM MAFT rather than a 2g MAF or a stock hacked one.
