i just installed my greddy type rs and after hearing it vented, i dont want it recirculated. i bought an extreme psi intake with the nipple for recirulating cuz i thought i was going to recirculate this bov. now my problem is i have to cap this off someway cuz now i have a low idle and an open hole on my intake pipe. any ideas on what to cover it up with? my friends said a breather filter but that will look stupid. have any of you had this problem? what did you use to cover it up? i dont want it to look retarded either, any suggestions? thanks in advance. Btw, the new greddy valve sounds great :thumb:

I had a hard time finding something to cap mine off with. To make a long story short you can use anything rubber thats in the shape of a cap as long as it fits snug. I used a bearing cover off of a old ride on lawn mower we had. It worked great, and didnt look bad neither because it was black on the stock intake.

You need to cap it off because otherwise your maf sensor will not be transfering accurate numbers. I just used a rubber hose cap. It was hard to find one that fit right..but you need to.

Mine came with tape wrapped around it. It worked good and it is cheap :thumb: :talon: ...

If you are wanting something that will look DECENT and POSSIBLY alittle more stockish then go get a piece of hose that will fit over the pipe or use the stock dump tube. Then take it to a hardware store and find a pvc pipe cap that will fit into the inside of it, buy it for 25cents, take it home, spray paint it black, slip it in and use the stock hose clamps and keep it in there snug, then just trim or turn the hose away from your BOV so that it doesnt get into the way.

A friend of mine had the same problem once and found out that the covers that go on a new roll of 35mm camera film cylinder fits almost perfect with a little silicone sealer.
