Espelir Exhaust...good or bad?

Hey finally got pics of my new exhaust check it out. The dp is the RRE evo dp and i got a 3' Espelir exhaust, sounds awesome but i already got pulled over for being to loud :thumbdown http://www.cardomain.com/memberpage/563275/5

I was waiting for the Espelir exhaust for awhile now. I have their springs in the GSX, I was gonna go with the exhaust too if it were good and not too loud at all. The EVO version is only a slight louder than its stock, but loud at WOT.

How do you like it? Could you please provide a review for this new part?

Haha i accidently went to that site as well. Yea i took the pictures in my shop at work, i should take better ones outside.
The dp bolted on perfect and replaced the cat i think it was $230 from RRE.
The exhaust is all 3" stainless steel and bolted up to the dp pretty good. The exhaust rubbed on the frame but i put in 2 spacers to lower a hanger in the back so it won't vibrate. That was the only thing that didn't fit perfect. The exhaust came with all the bolts,gaskets,and a silencer. It only cost $500 and was well worth it. The exhaust isn't extremely loud but i was pulled over because the cop thought i was a car that fled a scene where a fire was and pulled me over. Then found out it wasn't me he gave me a $55 ticket for my exhaust. Damn pig :thumbdown

RoadRace stopped selling the N-1 exhaust and they now sell the Espelir kit in its place. :thumbdown They told me something along the lines that it is a better quality, mostly being full stainless. Found out when I placed my order to buy the N-1 to replace my damaged piece. I haven't seen too many good quality pictures of the exhaust installed and I hear that it's loud, so I stuck with the classic N1.

ive decided on getting the Espelir JGT500R exhaust system for my GSX. I was wanting to know if it bolted up to the stock cat and if anyone has it, please list pros and cons or if anyone has heard anything about it. thanks

How about a link to who sells them? From the name they are either very cheap or expensive. Any exhust can be made to work with a convertor, you should get a high flow unit rather than stock. Try www.kteller.com for inexpensive exhaust systems.Mark

Did a google and it says bolton catback. Did notsho a GSX so make sure youget the80mm system. Price is about right at $495.mark

3" TURBO backs for $515. in aluminized or $575 or stainless. They come with a resonator and with a Magnaflow you get a deepspund that is quite quiet in the cabin.mark

Man I checked them out. You can get FWD, AWD, 2.5", 3", mild steel or stainless..All you need to add is a muffler which is what i prefer anyways and those prices are great for TURBO backs. I have 1 on my car with a custom Magnaflow along with a kteller resonator. Quiet and powerful. Deep sound yet no 3000rpm drone. The best all around IMHO. Mark

Not kidding. I own a '93 TSI AWD. I don'tknow what is a 2G AWD, GSX or GST.I would still get a kteller exhaust.
Stainless for $575. TURBO back!! I added a BIG Magnaflow with diual 3" outlets and they are my tips,$110.shipped.I hve a sideview pic if anyone wants to see it I would need an email addy to send it. Something special about the JGT500R? Looks like the rest such as Thermal.
Mine has a very deeptone at idle and is very quiet in the cabin at speed yet is a wide open system with a resonator also. The air my 60-1 draws in at it's coldair location makes more noise!! Mark X=AWD, Thanks!

My friend with a WRX has an Espelir very good quality. Welds look solid, fitment was perfect, and sounds nice on his car. He has had it for about 6months now ill ask him how he likes it next time he is online

I don't see anything specialabout the JGT500 exhaust. No betterlooking and who knows about performance since it seems not many if any DSM guys run one. mark

I LOVED IT...hence past tence, i had it for about 2 months when someone literally cut if off my car from the cat -back it had a nice deep tone, but without the drowning noise of other systems with regular driving. At WOT, it was pure sechs, i plan to order another one soon, right now i have the old apexi n1 system on there... it just does not compare
