Ok I bought a 91 gst auto for the engine to put in my 91 talon tsi awd. Are the cams in the auto different from the ones in the manual? Is the auto exaust manifold different then the manual manifold, I sold my exaust manifold and this one seems much smaller? Also are the 13b turbos supposed to have bigsmallbigsmall compressor blades, well this one does, it says tdo4hL on the housing? Are there any other differences I should know about between the auto and the manual engines? Thanks for the help I am trying to decide what I need to do to the engine to get the performance back up.

No the manifold and cams are the same. The turbo is a tdo4 with alternating blades its a 13b. Do a complete maintenance work on it and see how it goes from there,

No the Autos have smaller injectors, smaller cams i think the turbo is a 13g not 13b, tdo4, oil and coolant turbo lines on a auto are smaller than a manual. Other than that other stuff is the same.

But I swear the exaust manifold is smaller the hole where it connects to the turbo is so small, my old mani on my manual was much larger or did I have a 2g mani and I didnt know?

The manifold may be smaller, i know on my auto the manifold was very small, but i didnt have a manual one to compare it to. So couldnt tell you.
