As the title states, looking for FIRST HAND dealings from people with this turbo header.
I need to get a T3 manifold for my set up. I was going to get the RRE cast one, but I called and the freakers do not have even have the turbo mount holes DRILLED much less tapped.
And I cannot go anywhere local to have that done, and quite frankly I am not paying that much for something that I am only going to have to spend more to be able to hook up.

SO anyone with opinions on T3 manifolds please speak up.
I am not getting a crapauto header...
but I did find this on ebay and looking for anyone else that might have gotten it...

I think OBX is the same as SSAUTOCHROME. Pictures look alright but would like to see one in person before buying. I'm sure someone on here has had to of bought one. Good Luck :thumb:

the most popular and reliable tubular exhaust manifolds out are DNP (DN Performance) and SFP (South Florida Performance)

most go with the dnp as people have less problems with them...there real expensive but you get what you pay for...

o yeah that obx bullshiet will crack in 2 days...LOL...

I knew about the DNp ones, just way outta my price range. $450 is about tops I could go.
I just said to heck with it and got the T3 adapter from hahns. hell 100 bucks and alot of people have them and cannot complain...

I run a set of magnus tubular headers on my set-up. The build quality is second-to-none in my opinion. Spool up was dramtically decreased and it has yet to crack. Ive put alot of hard driven-high boost miles on the car, and once again..it has yet to crack...which seems to be a common thing with tubular headers. :thumb:

Since when does tubular headers crack? Its always the cast manifolds that do. I have the dnp manifold and its amazing. They cool off farely quickly too. Besides being awesome performance wise they look reall good. IM in the process of wrapping mine though.

The tubular ones crack when the tubes are S/S and the flanges are regular steel.
Disimilar metals cool and heat at different rates.
Cast is actually more prone not to crack over a lifetime then tubular.

if obx is the same is SS autochrome then stay away but if it isn't then it doesn't look bad but you cant' judge a book by its cover

AGP is coming out with a bad ass new header to replace their older cast one it looks very very nice in the picture's and i haven't really ever heard anyone complain about the quality of agp stuff

if you can find an HKS manifold fork out the cash and hide it away....i would kill for one
