Okay guys, heres the deal, as a college student i pretty much work on a low budget. I like to work on my car and fix it up when i get some money, but since funds are limited i just kind of keep an eye on any parts that may pop up on dsmtrader and other forums i can pick up at good prices for my car. So naturally, sometimes they dont come up in the same order as they do on the tuning guide for my car on this site, and its a deal i just cant pass up, hence i bring you the question...

I recently picked up a t-28 killer turbocharger and evo exhaust manifold (step ported), mods are as listed in my vehicle profile. Do you think i should bolt this manifold and turbo up to my car or wait, buy the rest of my exhaust and put it all on at once?

I also have o2 housing i can port if you think that may benefit my setup.

Now... Opinions?

I would think possibly just a fuel pump, And then your good to go for the time being. Then down the road, The downpipe for even a better gain, Being you have a catback already. You could port your 2g o2 housing, Being you would have it off the car during the turbo installation anyways. You have a boost gauge, Right?

i do have a boost guage, dont have an upgraded fuel pump.
do you think i could even run the t-28 killer on my stocker fuel pump with any benefit over the t-25?

You should be able to, I bolted a fp t-28 onto stock setup with minimal mods and there was a difference. I dont think it would hurt anything.

Yes. Just don't push your luck by turning up the boost with the new turbo without a fuel pump. I had a 16g awhile back on my last tsi, It really ripped compared to the 14b, I had it set at 15psi without a fuel pump with no problems, Every car is different though. :shhh:

i would do it, but i would definately get at least a walbro 190 (90$), and some bigger injectors. then you would really benefit from just spending a lil bit of money, you can turn the boost up and take advantage of the killer. then later on get an safc, pocketlogger, and other supporting mods.

Yes, I do believe that you would need some type of fuel controller to compensate for larger injectors, even if they were just 550's. So...that would require you to spend quite a bit of money, money in which you have previously stated you do not have at the current time. If I was you, I'd install the turbo, a fuel pump if you have the money to spend on one. If not, install it and don't turn up the boost until you have the money and the mods.

A 190lph will be fine. Down the road injectors would be good, but if you are just running the 190lph you can skimp on the afc for the time being. The stock injectors are good for more than people give them credit for, while your replacing the fuel pump, make sure to rewire it.
