ok, i replaced all my ex. manifold studs with brand new stainless steel studs.....

i replaced my exhaust manifold gasket because I could hear a fat exhaust leak coming from there, and my car was starting to take a lil longer to hit boost.

I also replaced the turbo-manifold gasket because it was all messed up and missing pieces in it. I torqued it all down, put everyting back together again, and fired it up.

Ta da! no more exhaust leak now.

problem is, my car is slower now that i don't have that exhasut leak.

what could that be due to and how do I fix that?

i already checked the vacuum hoses and they are all on nice and tight.

i had a leak in my downpipe flex section and when i replaed it with anew one with out the lek it felt slower to me. I think thats just the way it goes when its not dumping straight out a little.

I would start with a boost leak test. Also, an exhaust leak before the turbo will definately affect turbo response, while a leak after the turbo will just be loud and wouldn't affect turbo response.
