New intake and UICP = dead car

Help! I just install an injen intake and UICP with greddy type-s bov and now when I start up my car it idles at like 700 rpm and as soon as i step on the gas it dies.

are you venting with that new BOV? also, did you remember to plug the MAS back in? just a thought..

my opinion is that you do a boost leak test via www.vfaq.com also reset you idle and biss screw and all that to get er to idle higher.

Deffinitely either mas plug, boost leak, or venting.

You probablly forgot to plug in the mas air flow sensor, or it's not pluged in far enough or you dropped it when you took it out or somehting liek that. Even big boost leaks your car will run pretty good at idle.

^^^ Yeah mine with the turbo outlet hose off just idles like a v8 with HUGE cam timing.

Thanks for all the replies already. I feel like it might be the mas as well. It is plugged in all the way but its like its just not working or something. And no im not venting. This is so annoying.
My SAFC is showing really weird readings too. When I push the gas it the rpms start to drop and the car sputters and it looks like the throttle is opening up almost all the way instantly.

put the stock intake and stock uicp back on still doesnt work...this sucks...i cant even move my car to get it to a shop.

Did you unhook the battery when you replaced those parts? It might just be that the ECU got reset.

Make sure somehow you didnt reset ur afc and its no longer on 4 cylinders and karman. Other than that its gotta be the mas plug.

afc is still on 4 and karman. i really think its the mas plug. i tried to test it tonight but my volt meter really sucks so i'll be working on that this weekend.

When I reset the ecu about how long does it take to relearn how to run? I did not recet it at first but during all of my playing around with it I have and I have noticed slight improvements after just a few minutes, which to I had though would be the extent of the change.

You'll see some improvement after a few minutes, but to get things back to normal completely usually takes me a full day at least.
