The MAFT will not remove fuel cut, but can delay it's onset. You can do the same thing by removing the MAF screens or using a pot to modify the MAS' barometric output. Both trick the ECU into thinking less air is being injested (fuelcut is airflow related) but will need to compensate by adding in more fuel (bigger injectors or higher fuel pressure) as the ECU will only provide enough for what it actually "sees".

The only real way to remove fuel cut is an EPROM mod (DSMChips or DSMLink).

its not cutting at high rpm its when ever i hit 21 psi other wise i can drive the shit out of her. if i bost really hard it will just slap back for a sec at 21 psi i sounds like im causing lots of damage but i know what it is fuel cut its sees to much air . i heard putting a gm maf and translator in will let me boost even higher. i have a a 20g and a gt30r i want to use but no point if i cant push more boost. i havent decided what turbo is going on my lude yet but i think the gt30r will go on there. i would use my gt on the 2g but i need some internals first and the 20g will not help any more then my big evo 16g if i cant put more boost. i picked up a set of 650cc and 750 cc injectors to use in her i think ill use the bigger ones in the 2g and the smaller ones in my lude.

this is what i think im going with:

Complete Blowthrough Kit

Includes a Dejon Upper Intercooler Pipe, MAF translator and the 3" GM MAF so you can be setup with a blowthrough in a matter of hours!

This hard upper intercooler pipe combo puts the 3" GM MAF right inline with your upper intercooler pipes. This setup is very efficent and comes in at knock out price that just makes you want to get away from your stock MAS. This kit is everything you need, the MAF Translator, the GM MAF, and the Dejon Upper Intercooler Pipe.

Our Price:

$539.00

try to make a bit more sense when your posting please.

but i got fuel cut with my evo3 16g before i installed my afc. once i put the afc in with my 550cc injectors i never got fuel cut again. i currently boost 21 psi on the evo3 16g as well. the point is, you need something to fool the ecu whether it is an afc, dsm-link or an aem stand alone.

the stock mass is designed to cut fuel after it sees a certain amount of air flow. obviously you are there right now, so the ecu needs to be tricked into thinking that it does not need to fuel cut.

the easies and cheapest solution is the afc route.

well in your guys apionon should i wait on that dejohn kit and get my aem this winter like i planed and just deal with it for now. i dont want to spend 600 dollors and throw it away 6 months later when i spend 1800 on a full aem ems and wideband.
