Anybody here ever make their own FMIC from stock SMICs welded together with custom endtanks?

I've seen this done in a few places, but I want to know if anybody here has done it.

I'm basically broke, so I can't afford to spend 1000's of dollars on things, and I love DIY projects, and going faster.

I've seen it done with 3, but I'm wondering if I can cram 4 in there :) 1/4th the pressure decrease, 4 times the cooling.

Let me know

Turbotalon92 from Charlotte has an intercooler simular to this...i think he used Saab intercoolers...4 to be exact.

Also Denjon tool sells an intercooler that is 3 modified SMIC's flowing top to bottom. Looks kinda like a Spearco 221

SVO Mustang guys do this and i have seen it but do not know the process...hopefully someone else will post who does.

Good luck with your project though...
