i know a bigger fuel pump an injectors are needed. I dont know what size and what elso i will need. I want to be running in the low 13's and run pump gas. I have no clue about all the dataloggers and the piggyback syatems.

thanks

There is a pretty good tech guide on this site that gives staged upgardes. It also gives advice along the way of the why things are done this way. A datalogger tels you what is goign on with your car, while a piggyback allows you make changes to how your car utilizes its mods.

16G ....after that if you want a decent setup look at my mods. The car is quick but also nothing out of hand with too much stuff cause its daily driven.

550 injectors, SAFC , datalogger , FP (rewire it), plugs wires and you should be fine for now.

i say add a wideband o2 in there too. btw, MMCD is freeware so all you need is a palm unit and cable...

remember, a 255 lph pump WILL need a FPR to control it. you NEED to have good FP to get a good tune.

with a 190 some guys can get away with no FPR, some can't.. depending on the car.

Check out www.fullthrottlespeed.com. They offer;
1. MAFT
2.AFPR
3. the best for last1 the Scanmaster which comes with mmcd software if you wish tolog. i like the "show the data as you drive" feature. 02 voltage, knock , timing advance, injectorduty cycle and a built in 'g-tech" feature with 0-60MPH, 1/8mile time and the same for 1/4mile plusmuch more.the best tuning/logging piece available. mark

190 fuel pumps are usually ok without an apfr and can easily handle 20-22 psi on a 16g. Id reccoment 660's over 550s though because they are roughly the same price and give you room to grow. 720's are getting a little big for an safc but 660's can help you into 12's easily.

a 2.5" exhaust willget you 13's and I have a Buschur 2.5" mandrelbent SS turboback for onlym$250. plus shipping. that's the cost of the downpipe alone! mark

If a 16g will be the final turbo a 2.5" will do the job. I bought it to go with my EVO 16g but have since bought 2 more turbo's, both larger so I went to 3" exhaust.
I know the typical reply is go 3"always but that is not necessarily true. A 2.5" will get his 16g into the 13's and at $250.shipped he will have another $350. for some other mod that will do more then the extra size. Mark

2.5 is plenty ... especialy if you end up externaly dumping either at the o2 housing or ext. w/g

I don't think he'll be needing 720's for a solid 13 sec car :tease:

i didnt say 720's i said he should opt for 660's over 550's only because they are roughly the same price, easy to tune witht he safc, and just about everyone I know who buys 550's always sell them for 660's later even when they dont initially plan to.

View my mods list, everything is straight bolt on's and I did it mostly myself w/o any car knowledge :thumb: I'm only running 11lbs right now and the car pulls way harder than my 14b with 15lbs!!!! As far as logging, I went with pocketloggers stuff, It is awesome!! I can't wait till I'm running 20lbs......Just getting all my maintenance done first :D
