60 trim on 1g, do i need fal fans?

hey i just bought a pte 60 trim, thats internally gated....anyway after looking at my engine bay it doesnt seem as if the 60 trim will fit. do i need to get slimmer fans than the stock a/c and radiator fans? i dont want to go through the hassle and find out i need one. any type of info would really help thanks! also if i do need some where can i find one thats a pretty cheap price. thanks

Yep, both stock fans gotta go. But with that turbo you will need a fmic so your ac fan is already gone right?

no actually i can still use my a/c which is a nice plus...i had a buddy of mine customize piping to make it work. damn that sucks though. any clue as to where i can get some nice slim fans for a pretty cheap price?

I went down to my local parts store and bought a couple. I think it was like $85.00 for a 14" and $58.00 for a 10". They are not the best quality but they get the job done.

I have this turbo vwith slim replacement fans and run good. I'll let you know this weekend how it do. Just put my 2.3L and strip/street head and fp2 in.

damn seems like everywhere im looking to spend about 200 dollars for both fans. they tell me i need a 12" for primary and 10" for secondary a/c. this definetely wasnt in my plans of money i have to spend to put my turbo on although this car is going to make all of those honda guys out here in cali

Im running a single 12" pusher fan from a mecedes benz and I will never change it. It fit well between my fmic and radiator and it hasnt gotten over 190*. This also frees up a lot of room under the hood. Your only drawback is that you still have ac and the condensor mounted in front of the radiator.

thats true, thing is this isnt going to be my everyday car. i have a 240 that i use. although i still want the casualties of having a/c. because living in cali without a/c is no joke! most guys you see that dont have a/c are usually dying at noon time. with these fans i want to see how tempeture builds up to and make a decision through there.

sup guys i was gone for the weekend. thermal is southern cali, im about 20 mins. from palm springs. i work out in Loma Linda by san bernardino though. so you can fit a 14 and 10. at my local shop they say a 12 and 10?
