Anyone get a Exhaust from DSM-Performance.com

Anyone bought an exhaust from DSM-Performance.com? I purchased the following system :

I purchased with the High Flow Cat and Test Pipe. My problem is for installation you have to start cutting the exhaust. Also, after the cat/test pipe the exhaust reduces down to 2.5" then back up to 3" . I am very unhappy with this. The 02 elimnator is awesome, I just don't like the fabrication of installation.

My plans are to remove the 2.5" section and weld a 3" spacer in its place, to get rid of the bottleneck.

Anyone else have this problem?

It is common to have to cut a section off the catback exhaust to make it a true 3" exhaust system. I had to do that with my Thermal catback when I installed my DSM P O2 elimintor.

I have this for my 1g and its completely fine. The only thing i didnt like is that it didnt come with gaskets and bolts as well as how long it took to get here Other than that, mine is 3" all the way back. I ordered the 3" o2 elin turbo back with test pipe. Is it because you ordered with the cat or something, i dont see why or where it would neck down to 2.5" at all.

Its because alot of aftermarket 3" catbacks are designed to bolt straight up to the stock downpipe/cat. That is why is necks down.

I know that, but he said he bought turbo back.... that is exactly what I ve had on mine for months now, but mine doesnt neck down at all

Yes, I did order with the Hi-Flow Cat option. I believe that is why it is flanged. Attached is pics of the downpipe, 02 eliminator and the flanged section of exhaust.
