I am looking for a 1G FMIC. Who makes the best. I was thinking of a Indy Race cores or a buschur racing. I have no idea which one to get. Does any one have anyother ideas?

uite frankly, buying the Buschur core is stupid now that indy is around. Indy is offering a comparable, although slightly better, product at a much more reasonable price.

You may even want to consider building your own kit....If you have access to a welder and a dealers license. the total piping setup will cost approx 100 and the intercooler core is either 385 or 414 depending on whether you go with the street core or larger race core. I say go race core, part number 2-216 at spearco. Pay someone to weld on endtanks and you can get off with a race core kit for 700 dollars....

However, its impossible to really match IRC's qaulity, and I would recomend their services to anyone.

Where do you get the indy. I went to the shop where i get my parts(turbo trix). And they are out of stock. I need the intercooler bad. I have a turbo, bov, injectors waiting to go in. Has anyone heard about the RnR Racing FMIC?

Ryan Fellows, the owner of RnRRacing is a friend of mine. Very cool guy, and very good work. I would recomend him for anyone.

TurboTrix has 2 kits on the way that were shipped last week... don't know if they were already spoken for though.

I don't remember.. just what I heard. I haven't talked to eric or any of the guys down there for a while. I did hear that some guy named Russ bought a decent blue 92 TSI FWD off a buddy of mine.

Ken- Is there a way that I can order a intercooler and have a bov already on the intercooler pipe? like a greddy type s or a tial?

We can flange it for any BOV that you wish... we'd need the BOV flange though. If you want a Tial BOV... I have an account w/ them & could get it straight from Tial & get the flange welded onto the piping.. and then make you a package deal (Tials BOVs are less than $225 when ordered w/ a FMIC.. ).
