What type of FMIC is this and how do I mount it?

This is the FMIC I have and I was wondering how to mount it and where to buy the brackets. I did alot of searching but didn't find much.

Thanks,
Josh

home depot my freind. they have some metal strips with holes in them, you take those and make brackets and stuff with them.

awsome thanks. Yea thats what my main question was how to do the mod with those bracket strips. Just modify the hell out of them?

Thanks,
Josh

I bought a strip of aluminum raw iron from home depot. Its a long peice of aluminum folded at a 90* bend. I cut a 3x3 piece of it and welded it onto the top center of the intercooler. Then I drilled a hole in the aluminum piece and bolted it up to the hood latch support bar (im not sure what else to call it).

Make sure you get an aluminum piece, otherwise it cannot be welded to the intercooler.

i have to agree with c5chris, looks like a street imports that's what i have on my talon. i'll take a pic of my car to show you how mine is mounted

Awsome thanks,

Yea the main thing was how to mount it. I like that aluminum idea. And the guy I got it from said there made in canada or somthing? Run around 200-250 range? Don't know if that helps any.

Want to do the piping myself to save as much as possible. Looking around for welding options and a cheap way to get some pipe LOL so I don't have to much left over. Went to a shop yesterday and they wanted 300 for everything.

Thanks

Cut your own aluminum flange and take it to a machine shop. The flange cost me $10 for the large aluminum raw iron and the welding (TIG) cost me $5. The first shop wanted $75 for welding which is bull. It only takes 5 minutes to weld something that small.
