Would a 1g NT TB work as well as a turbo TB on a 2g?

Got a 1g N/T TB and am wondering about its application on my 2g turbo. Looks like it should work. Is it 60mm like the turbo version? Is it worth the mod? Thanks.

IMHO, the 1G NT throttle body has a slight advantage over the 1G turbo and certainly 2G turbo T-body.
Instead of having bolts holes where a flange meets up, it has a sleeve, which will allow you to run a silicone elbow and one less gasket to worry about.
A few DSMLink guys started using this to run a full 3" blow-thru system while still using a stock throttle body.

Exactly
Plus the 1g TB inside diameter is slightly larger than the 1g's and huge compared to the 2g.
Good luck.

OMG I strongly advise against that practice OMG The 1g N/T T-body has different shaft seals which will blow out under boost. There's another thread about non turbo throttle bodies on turbo cars and how the shaft seals react to boost. From what I read on those threads, not a good idea. Do a search and read for yourself if you dont believe me. :nono:

I know several guys running them. Two I know for sure is in the 60+ lb./min. range with no problems.
Here's a pic of one of the guys setups....

the turbo and non-turbo tb's have differnt seals all you have to do is replace the seals and it will work fine.there is a pic of mine in my gallery

Thanks for the help guys. I'm gonna try it and see what happens. I will take your concerns into consideration though.
