Megan racing dp to apexi dunk

Okay so everything fit in perfectly and all the hangars bolted up and then as im looking to connect my Apexi Dunk mid-pipe to my Megan Racing downpipe, the flanges are off and they are seperated by at least 2 inches. I was wondering if I installed something wrong or that its just like it. Its not a problem but now I have to drive around with no exhaust until I get my high-flow catalytic converter welded in.

can you maybe post a picture of what you're talking about? i mean, how can you install an exhaust wrong?

i don't get that either? if you bought everything for your model dsm everything should bolt right up. unless if was a parts manufacture screw up (it happens). the best thing would be to take it to an exhaust shop and see what they can do. sorry couldn't be more help.

measure the gap as close as you can, go to an exhaust shop (if you can take both the DP and cat-back with you) have them make you a slip-fit joint to connect the two pieces together.

Im just gonna have to get my high flow cat welded onto my downpipe and then use the flange they cut off and get that welded onto my high flow cat and hook up my mid-pipe to cat.

the only problem with that is if you want to go over to a test pipe instead of the hf cat.
